Update on Summer Auctions

I want to update interested parties on our summer auction schedule. As mentioned, the Dreier Collection and Animation Auction catalogs are now out. You can order them by calling the office at 310-859-7701. The Animation catalog is online here and you can also download a PDF via the same link, as well as order a hardcopy ($35) through PayPal. The Dreier PDF will be online by this weekend. Online registration for both auctions will be online this weekend, too. (You can sign up for the Animation auction now by downloading the registration form.)

The date and time for the Dreier auction is Saturday, July 28 at 11am PDT. The Animation auction is Sunday, July 29 at 11am PDT. You can get additional info on preview dates and locations for Animation at the link above. Dreier preview details will be forthcoming. Both catalogs are being mailed out to those on our mailing list this Friday.

We are still diligently working on the summer Hollywood Auction catalog. We anticipate that we will to be done by this time next week. The hardcopies for Hollywood will be available the week after and mailed out before the 4th of July. The online version will be up by then as well.

There are 396 lots in Dreier and 910 for Animation. Hollywood will have approximately 1,150. All total there will be almost 2,500 items on the block. Furthermore, all three auctions will be represented at next month’s San Diego Comic-Con. We will be in our usual booth #1605, where we will have on display select items from the Dreier and Hollywood auctions. Animation art will be displayed in booth #501 at our partner Van Eaton Galleries’ space.

As you can see, we have been quite busy. Still, I look forward to speak with many old friends in the next few weeks, sharing details about the upcoming auctions, and perhaps even hang out with some of you at Comic-Con. First round on me!
